Another death last night in the DC area due to that elusive shooter...This time in 
Fairfax, VA on Rte. 50...Those familiar with the area know this is a mere stone's 
throw from the District...In Arlington, I could even hear the helicopters hovering 
overhead...We haven't been more on edge around here since 9/11...We'll lead the show 
with the latest and give you a sense of where police investigators are on the 
matter...Clint van Zandt and Christopher Whitcomb (a former FBI sniper himself) will

Another percolating issue is the economy...How's the Bush team doing?  Are they

In other news, Al Gore was out campaiging in Iowa yesterday but some Dems aren't sure 
what his plans are...Chris Dodd was in Iowa as well but coy about his intentions...And 
voters don't want to see Hillary run for office....Plus, what was Geraldo doing when

The victim of last night's attack was identified this morning as Linda Franklin, 47, 
of Arlington. She was an FBI analyst in the Cyber-Crimes Division and the mother of 
two grown children, an FBI chaplain at the house said today. She and her husband were 
going to move to another home in the area on Friday and they were at the Home Depot
