The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------
The snow may have shut down an entire coast of the United States but it hasn't shut
down Hardball.
It's gonna take a little more than a couple feet of snow to put the brakes on this
show. As a matter of fact, it may get so hot tonight we could end up melting some
snow...
We devote the front half of the show to President Bush's next move in the Iraq
diplomatic dance. We'll talk to Dick Armey and an old Hardball favorite Jerry Brown
(Oakland's current mayor and former California Gov and '92 presidential candidate).
We haven't heard from him in a while. Jerry's kinda like a Caddell type: Independent
Leftie contrarian. Plus, Fund will join in the fun as well..
In the D block, Former congressman and new MSNBC guy Joe Scarborough will face off
with California Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez (She's the woman who beat Dornan in '98)
over this past weekend's protests...What did they accomplish? and can anything stop
the current march of the war machine?
Plus, Howard will give the us the latest scoop from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. (albeit
snowed in) in the E block...
And a special treat in the F block...Former Veep Walter Mondale will share his
thoughts on Iraq, Bush and the Dem field in '04...
Stay with MSNBC and http://msnbc.com for the latest on the show down with Iraq and the
snow storm!
