The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------
Tonight Chris is in Miami escaping the Blizzard of '03 for another exciting edition of
our College Tour with none other than Bob Dole, a man whose achievements are so widely
known and prolific he needs no backgrounder...
We'll of course ask him how he'd handle the gathering storm in Iraq, his service in
WWII (he volunteered for duty as you'll recall) and how wartime U.S.A. has changed
from then until now...He'll also size up the current crop of Dem candidates of '04,
some of whom he's served with in the Congress...Today Gephardt officially announced in
St. Louis, yesterday Kucinich and Moseley-Braun jumped in the fray...
Dole has a great sense of humor (he's written a couple of books on political wit,
humor and anecdotes) and we suspect it'll be on full display tonight...By the way,
they'll be at Barry University http://msnbc.com/news/871649.asp
Barry press release http://www.barry.edu/highlights/hardball.htm
Plus, how's life in the Senate spouses club with Bill Clinton? Life on Viagra?
Speaking of the Gephardt announcement, just asking...Does his intro music U2's "Where
The Streets Have No Names" mean a Bono endorsement?
Live at 9 pm et, exclusively on MSNBC...And then after that, check out Joe
Scarborough's cool new hour of live programming at 10..
