An action packed hour is in store for you...Here's a quick editorial
roadmap...Andrea kicks off the show from Tel Aviv with the latest on Arafat
funeral preparations...Former Middle East envoy for Reagan, Richard Murphy,
gives us the lowdown on the Middle East peace process post
Arafat..."Geopolitical impact of Arafat's passing" is the phrase I've been
throwing with friends and colleagues in a vain attempt to impress...

We then speak with Nebraska Senator and Vietnam Vet Chuck Hagel...A combat
veteran and Republican, Senator Hagel will share with us how his experience in
Vietnam shapes his opinion on Iraq...Hagel recently described the pace of
Iraq's reconstruction as "beyond pitiful, it's beyond embarrassing; it's now in
the zone of dangerous." We'll see if he still holds that view...

We'll also talk to retired General Wesley Clark and get his read on the state
of the world...

We'll do political slicin' and dicin' on Arafat with The New York Times' Judy
Miller and uber-Washington Wiseman David Gergen...I'm sure Chris will pivot to
the Fallujah offensive as well..

We round out tonight's Veterans Day show with a poignant memorial..."Last
Letters Home: Voices of American Troops from the Battlefields of Iraq" is a
compilation book of last letters from U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq...A
companion documentary of friends and loved ones reading these letters debuts on
HBO tonight...We'll talk to the editor of the book, Bob Sullivan, who also
collaborated on the documentary...We'll run a clip of it of course...Plus,
Cathy Heighter, whose son's letter is featured in the documentary, will tell us
how she's coping with the loss of her son...

Keep it real
