The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------
Chris is out in Nashville tonight in preparation for tomorrow night's big
special "One Nation Under God" live from Two Rivers Baptist Church....Chris
will talk to leading clergy and lay folk on the important intersection of
Church and politics. Here's the release
http://nbcumv.com/release_detail.nbc/msnbc-20050624000000-msnbcannouncesthe.html
We begin with Chris' exclusive backstage access and interview with Billy Graham
at his final U.S. Crusade in New York City yesterday...Billy was even kind
enough to mention his interview with Chris in his speech to the
faithful...We'll show you the tape...Oh yeah, and Chris asks him if God plays
Hardball...
Another huge day inside the Beltway, btw, as SCOTUS ends its term and issues a
number of big decisions, most notably on the 10 Commandments...There was no
major retirement announcement as anticipated by the MSM (which is shocking
because we're usually right!) this morning...Be that as it may, we'll get
reaction to the decisions from former Bush '41 Counsel C. Boyden Gray (head of
the Committee for Justice, a non profit advocacy group pushing conservative
judicial nominees) and David Boies, the lead attorney for Gore during the '00
Recount...
Oh, and we got a couple of different members of Congress just back from Gitmo:
Rep. Tom Cole (R-OK) and Rep. Ellen Tauscher (D-CA)...We'll get a sense of what
they learned and what the real story is down in that tropical prison...
And of course, Chris anchors live coverage of the POTUS speech on Iraq
immediately following our broadcast from Two Rivers....
