Harry Whittington, the man whom Vice President Cheney accidentally shot last
weekend, appeared today outside the hospital where he's been recovering to say
thanks to his doctors and express how he felt sorry for what Cheney has gone
through this week. Meanwhile, the vice president went to his home state of
Wyoming to address the state legislature, saying, "Thankfully, Harry
Whittington is on the mend and doing very well." Here's the AP's report on it
