The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------
It's another big Friday night, and of course that means it's time for the
Hardball HotShots! Tonight, MSNBC's Tucker Carlson, Rita Cosby, and Ron Reagan
will join Chris to chew on the Libby learning and the latest from the 2008
presidential prospects.
Also tonight, Hardball Correspondent David Shuster will have the latest on the
CIA leak investigation. What is Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald up to?
Why hasn't White House Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove been cleared in the case
yet? And what will happen in the next nine months before Libby's trial begins?
Attorneys Bob Bennett, who represents former New York Times reporter Judy
Miller and will be here exclusively, and Ben Ginsberg, a former counsel to the
RNC and the Bush/Cheney campaigns, will talk about the legal meaning of Libby's
disclosure that the president authorized the release of classified
intelligence.
Plus, Newsweek's Michael Isikoff and New York Times reporter Anne Kornblut will
be here to discuss the latest news in the case.
You also won't want to miss tonight the second part of Chris' conversation with
Rosie O'Donnell about fighting the culture wars.
Be sure to tune in all next week for Hardball's 9th Anniversary celebration!
