            The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------

Get ready for Hardball's 9th Anniversary Extravaganza! It's a whole week
celebrating 9 years of politics and personalities. It's a time to look back on
our favorite moments and look ahead to an intense midterm election and an
already underway presidential battle in 2008. All week, Chris will be joined by
great guests with many surprises in store! Hear Chris' thoughts on the occasion
on Hardblogger: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11944069/.

about that and many other fun facts about Hardball here:

your local NBC station!

Tonight on Hardball, to kick off a big week, Chris is live in Los Angeles,
where one of the big immigration rights marches is happening today. Read the
AP's update on the protests nationwide here:

Chris will talk about the political power of these protests with Rep. Tom
Tancredo (R-CO) and Dave Rodriguez, vice president for the League of United
Latin-American Citizens. Can thousands of protestors force Congress to get
something done? And if so, will Congress do what they want?

MSNBC's Tucker Carlson, host of The Situation at 11 pm eastern Monday through
Thursday (and a Hardball HotShot on Fridays!), will report live from the
National Mall in Washington, DC, where another protest is happening today.
Check out Tucker's latest thoughts on this debate here:

Switching gears, Chris will talk with Seymour Hersh of the New Yorker about his
new report on what options the White House is considering to deal with Iran's
nuclear situation. Read it here:

Also tonight, Hardball Correspondent David Shuster will have the latest on the
new revelations in the CIA leak probe. Plus, MSNBC's Ron Reagan and radio talk
show host Hugh Hewitt will debate the political implications of the illegal
immigration fight and the ongoing investigation into the leaking of national
intelligence.
