The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------
Hardball's 9th Anniversary Blowout continues today live from the campus of the
University of Southern California! Chris will welcome Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA)
to discuss the politics of illegal immigration, the president's role in the
Libby affair, Decision 2006, Iran's defiance, and much, much more. Boxer, who
is one of just two cosponsors for a motion to censure the president over the
NSA's once-secret domestic wiretapping, sent a letter today to the president
demanding that he apologize for his "role in declassifying information for
political reasons and authorizing its dissemination." Will Boxer's "request" be
answered? Read her note here:

The senator is just one of the big guests joining us for the weeklong
anniversary celebration! Check out MSNBC.com for more on Hardball's fun-filled
past and plans for 2006, 2007, 2008, and beyond:

Rep. Jim Moran (D-VA) and MSNBC Political Analyst Pat Buchanan also will be
here tonight to talk about the debate over illegal immigration. Will Moran and
his colleagues cut a deal when Congress gets back to work after Easter?
In California, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R-CA), who rode box office
popularity to victory at the ballot box in the infamous 2003 recall election,
is gearing up for a real battle to get re-elected in 2006. To help him do that,
he's brought in some of the pros who helped President Bush win again in 2004.
One of them, strategist Matthew Dowd, will be here tonight to talk about how
they plan to do it...and what the Governator is doing on the environment that
is making waves within the GOP. Read more about that here:

Plus, for more on how the Iraq War is hitting home on college campuses, Chris
will talk to Col. Rocky Morrison, head of the U.S. Navy's ROTC program at USC.
Chris will also talk with USC students about how the politics of the war,
immigration, and other issues are playing out in their lives there.
