            The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------

Today marks the 24th day of the Middle East crisis and tonight Hardball will
have one of the major players attempting to negotiate an end to the violence:
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. We'll hear her perspective on all the
latest news in Israel, Lebanon, Iraq, and Cuba. Do not miss this Hardball
exclusive! For a preview, go to http://hardball.msnbc.com for video and a
transcript.

Senator Chris Dodd (D-CT) was supposed to head to Iraq this weekend but instead
cancelled his trip to campaign for his colleague Sen. Joe Lieberman (D-CT) in
anticipation of Tuesday's primary. He'll explain why Iraq may be the deciding
factor for voters come election day.

For more fallout on the Rumsfeld testimony yesterday and calls for his
resignation by Senator Hillary Clinton, we'll have Markos Moulitsas, better
known as Daily Kos, and John Fund from OpinionJournal.com.

And be sure to watch MSNBC all day Tuesday for Hardball's coverage of the
Connecticut Senate primary election live from New Haven!
