The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------
It's judgment day for Senator Joe Lieberman in his Democratic primary fight
against Ned Lamont. The polls closed just hours ago. For all you late night
junkies who aren't yet asleep, here's what the Associated Press is reporting at
this hour:
With 55 percent of precincts reporting, Ned Lamont leads with 52 percent, or
76,347 votes. Lieberman lagged with 48 percent, or 70,337 votes.
So no projected winner at this point.
