Back in Iowa after a 19-year absence, 2008 contender Senator Joe Biden (D-DE)
hits the campaign trail this week in the Midwest. We'll hear his thoughts on
the politics of national security.
President Bush said this week "America is safer than it has been, yet it is not
yet safe." Have we improved U.S. security since 9/11? We'll ask former
Homeland Security Secretary and Pennsylvania Governor Tom Ridge. We'll also
talk about Pennsylvania politics, as we bring you live coverage of President
Bush's appearance at a Lynn Swann campaign event in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Today Ned Lamont holds a presser to respond to charges by his opponent Joe
Lieberman as well as VP Cheney. Tonight, he'll play Hardball and talk campaign

Israeli Deputy Prime Minister Shimon Peres in Washington this week and met with

And across America, all the big guns are out this week campaigning for 2006

Washington Times and Ryan Lizza, Senior Editor of The New Republic, will have
the latest on Decision 2006.
On tomorrow's Hardball, 9/11 Commission Co-Chairs and authors of "Without
Precedent: The Inside Story of the 9/11 Commission," Gov. Tom Keane and Lee
Hamilton will shed light on a post-9/11 America.
Also in a Hardball exclusive tomorrow, Rep. John Murtha (D-PA) will join Chris
to discuss the latest on the Iraq war.
