Last night, Hardball and the MSNBC team kept our promise to stay on the air
until Imus kicked us out of the studio at 6 AM.

Tonight, tune in to Hardball at 5 and 7 PM ET for our continuing Decision 2006
post-election coverage. The Democrats celebrated a big win last night, but
more big news came from the White House today. The resignation of Defense Sec.
Donald Rumsfeld was announced this morning by President Bush. Click here for
the latest http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15622266/.

We begin at 5 PM with Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) on Rumsfeld, Rove, the Dem
victory lap and whether or not the President will be a willing partner with her
party. Then, for the inside scoop on the Democratic and Republican morning
after we'll hear from former RNC Chair Ed Gillespie and former DNC Chair Terry
McAuliffe. What message were voters sending to the Bush Administration, is the
President listening and what lies ahead with Iraq and the remainder of Bush's
term? Plus, NBC's Brian Williams sat down today with Rep. Nancy Pelosi
(D-CA)-- we'll take a listen.

(http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15624014), Rumsfeld and a midterm wrap we'll talk
to Chris Cillizza from WashingtonPost.com. Take a look at Cillizza's political

Decision 2006 put Democrats in control of the House - what changes are in
store? We'll hear from Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD), in the running with Rep. Jack
Murtha (R-PA) for the leadership job. Check out this must read from National
Journal Editor-in-Chief Chuck Todd: Congress Gets a Case of the Blues

poured in, our Hardball Decision 2006 panelists: MSNBC's Norah O'Donnell, MSNBC
Political Analysts Craig Crawford and Pat Buchanan and Time Magazine's Mike
Allen also will be here. Read Craig Crawford's column from CQ: Bush Crashes
