            The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------
Walter Reed Army Medical Center is a highly regarded place for wounded U.S.
troops to receive the military's best medical care. But are wounded soldiers
being neglected? Tonight on Hardball, Chris talks to the Washington Post's
Dana Priest, who spent four months observing the conditions at Walter Reed's
Building 18 and reported her findings - including mold, peeling wallpaper,
shower rot, mice and cockroaches - in Sunday's Post
(http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/02/17/AR2007021701172.html).

As the military struggles to provide treatment for the thousands of troops
already wounded, how will the deployment of more than 20,000 additional troops
affect the patient care problem? NBC's Richard Engel will have the latest,
plus more on this story from Paul Rieckhoff, executive director of Iraq and
Afghanistan Veterans of America and Capt. Robert McGovern, author of "All
American: Why I Believe in Football, God and the War in Iraq." Engel is back
from Baghdad working on a documentary that will air on MSNBC on March 21 - the
fourth anniversary of the war.
