            The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------
Vice President Dick Cheney drops in on Pakistan's President Gen. Pervez
Musharraf to deliver the Bush Administration's message that it's time for them
to do more against Al-Qaida. Back in Washington, jury deliberations continue
in Scooter Libby's trial. Today, a juror was sent home for being exposed to
media coverage of the case over the weekend.

But first tonight, Gov. Bill Richardson (D-NM) plays Hardball. The '08
presidential candidate was in town this weekend for the National Governors
Association meeting. Earlier today, Richardson met with President Bush at the
White House to discuss foreign policy and signed a climate pact with Gov.
Arnold Schwarzenegger (R-CA) and other governors.

Later in the show, the Hardballers: Chris Cillizza from washingtonpost.com and
the Chicago Sun-Times' Lynn Sweet will be here to talk about the '08 contenders
and how war votes in Congress and Iraq will affect their campaigns. Read the
latest from Sweet here: http://blogs.suntimes.com/sweet/.

(http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17342157/), and we'll talk more with David
Schertler, former federal prosecutor, and Newsweek's Mike Isikoff.

Plus, the revolving door between Hollywood and politics continues: former Vice
President Al Gore's documentary "An Inconvenient Truth" triumphs at the Oscars
Sunday night, while actress/activist Mia Farrow speaks out on Darfur after
returning from a tour of Central Africa. Farrow will be here tonight to tell
us more.

And don't miss a special report on politics and the Academy Awards from MSNBC's
Ashley Pearson. Pearson caught all the glitz, glamour and politics from behind
the scenes at the Vanity Fair Oscar party last night - including some special
words for Chris from Regis Philbin, co-host of "Live with Regis and Kelly."
