            The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------
TWO DAYS TO GO...

Hello Hardballers!

Chris has landed on the west coast. Let the debate preview begin!
Tonight... we'll give you a taste of what to expect at the Reagan Library
Thursday with a great taped package on the library itself. Then right into
Republican 2008 contender, Rep. Thomas Tancredo. After that, it's Rep. John
Murtha, (D-PA), one of the staunchest war critics, about the war and the
president's expected veto of the war supplemental bill. Then we look at the
war and politics from a different angle with Bill Maher, the host of "Real
Time" which airs Fridays at 11pm eastern on HBO. Next we dig into the 2008
politics and a preview of the GOP debate with Democratic consultant Steve
McMahon and the Family Research Council's Ken Blackwell. Ken used to be the
Ohio Secretary of State. We've also got Iraq war veteran Paul Rieckhoff, who
founded Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, for his take on the 4th
anniversary of the president's "Mission Accomplished" speech. And we'll wrap
it up with Roger Simon of the Politico.com.

And just a reminder, this Thursday Chris Matthews moderates the GOP
Presidential Candidates Debate, sponsored by MSNBC, Politico.com and the Reagan
Library.
