The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------
Have you ever wanted to ask Ann Coulter a question?
The always-controversial Coulter will be joining us on Tuesday for a sizzling
show on Hardball Plaza. The fireworks flew last year and we heard from many of
you after the fact. This year, we want you to hear from you beforehand and
include some of your voices in the conversation. Go to Hardball.msnsbc.com and
send us your questions for Ann Coulter - write down your question and send it
in, or get in front of a camera and send us your video question.
"The family jewels" are coming out and it's not gonna be pretty. Next week,
the CIA will declassify some of their biggest secrets, including kidnappings,
assassination attempts, infiltrations, surveillance, and wiretapping. Why air
the dirty laundry? Will it hurt what the CIA is doing now? Tonight on
Hardball, we'll talk to two former CIA officers: Tyler Drumheller, who led
European operations, and former operative Bob Baer. We'll also hear from
Thomas Blanton, director of National Security Archives at George Washington
University .
Then, is the U.S. government encouraging global warming with subsidies to oil
and coal companies? Rolling Stone Contributing Editor Robert Kennedy, Jr. and
radio talk show host Melanie Morgan will be here to discuss that leading up to
tonight's Hardball Debate: Are the political parties broken? Jerry Rafshoon
from Unity '08 and former DNC chair and Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell will
duke it out.
And the Hardball panel will be here to talk about all of the hot political news
of the day: washingtonpost.com's Chris Cillizza, Newsweek's Holly Bailey, and
Melinda Henneberger, author of "If They Only Listened to Us: What Women Voters
Want Politicians to Hear." Check out Henneberger's NY Time's op-ed "Is
Pro-Choice Bad Choice for Democrats?" here
