Terry, Bashkar:
We have two of the Health Science Schools here (Nursing and Public Health)
who wish to demonstrate VistA for specific EHR Classes during Fall term. I
am eager to get the running demonstration Form to install on our
demonstration server for use in Fall term. Additionally, the ability to
demonstrate ESI-Objects usage in separate environments to be used for
projects directed at re-configuration would enable depiction that the M
developement environment is not "old" as the "dont confuse me with the
facts!" attitudes try to make it but rather can be a state-of-the-art
developement environment. John Halamka from Care Grtoup recently gave a
seminar here about their approach to enterprise information environments
and this will be a chance to show how their experiance can duplicated
elsewahre - if you know how to do it. Our evolving "Introduction to VistA"
Documentation will be available as we incorporate our (and the Vista
Community) experiences into description fo the details and how to use the
existing documentation in the process. Please let me know how to obtain an
initial demo CD/DVD for early use here.
