Small world Mark :-)... with the blessing of Antoine Rosset, the lead for OSiRIX (a 3d DICOM viewer) we just started a discussion forum to discuss porting OSiRIX to Linux....it runs on Macs only currently. There is also another site OpenRAD run by Paul Nagy another colleague in the open source health community which is also relevant. My motivation was to help establish an open source approach for imaging in VistA....will see if it takes root. The folks working on OSIRIX are top notch imaging folks and open source has been a hot topic at RSNA for the last couple of years.

I do not at all understand the issues related to VistA Imaging, but I ran across an article where radiologist are using iPOD's to store images. The product is OsiriX and is opensource could this be part of an opensource solution for VistA Imaging?
