OK, I am favorably impressed with the mediawiki. I was going to try changing 
your <nowiki>
tag to a <pre> and I found that you or someone had changed it already. It 
appears that the
wiki automatically escapes problem characters like "<" and ">" and quote and 
spaces etc.
so they will be displayed prety much as intended.
