Whoa! It seems very likely that your inserted comment broke the whole block of
code. Did
you notice that the lines in that area of the source code all used the
dot-syntax for code
blocks. If your comment did not begin with the same number of leading dots
("."), it would
prevent the subsequent lines from being executed.

Did you see my note where I gave you a link to a version of ^DIS1 where I
inserted
George's fix? I tested it and the search did appear to work correctly for me.
