I believe that VistA is being used in Clinics (VistA lite???)! If we could setup something for primary healthcare clinics, can't they be used to directly order Lab tests, radiology exams ... to hospitals nearby (or even one hospital to another) so that the patients can directly be seen there (continuing care) rather then have separate episodes of care?
