Hi all,

This is a question I was asked by one of my team members. I am not sure of the right answer. Cananyone tell me if this is allowed?

'Intersystems is providing a conversion tool which converts FileMan definitions to Cache class definitions. The resultant Cache classes can be enable to support writing to the database, either through an Object.%Save(), Object.%Delete() or SQL INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE. If these methods are supported in the class(ie the class is not made readonly) is this considered a 'legal and sanctioned' method for effecting the database?'

Thanks,
Madhavi
