Ok. First, were you administrator with you typed iptables -L? On my system, it will say "command not found" if I don't first do a "su -".
If you have the RPC listener running on your server, and you have no firewalls on either end for ports 9200, and you run RPCBroker test with appropriate IP addresses and ports, then you SHOULD get something. What error are you getting?
