Won't the RFID chip just be placed in the ugly plastic wristband they put on you when you are admitted to a hospital.  Did Thurman leave the  context out?

There was a time, not too long ago when this was considered EXCESSIVELY paranoid.  RFID jammers will become commonplace, I'm sure.  It's not too hard.
