Yes, i looked at Kylix and did not think it was a good option.. Since again it ties
you to a vendor and limits the portability, limits the support you can get and limits
the number of people that can work or would be interested in working on the code.

Perhaps once we get more interest in India on Vista we can leverage that, there are
some codes and even a cousin there is a Java coder/teacher.

I'm not so sure. And, BTW, as much as I like Pascal, I am *not* an
advocate of sticking to Delphi. I just don't think switching to Kylix
will help you as much as you think. For starters: you need to address
the role of COM in CPRS. The real issues are much more basic than just
the language.
