But how should it work? It would be easy enough to find dangling pointers, even to allow the user to do a lookup and repoint to the selected record, but that could certainly be labor intensive, and there's no guarantee that there will be a "right" record, much less a means of identifying which one it is. If you already know what the pointer should be, what's wrong with using Fileman to stuff the field with the appropriate value?
