Perhaps, but the KIDS install program percieves this to be a problem.
It created an Alert telling me of the failed install, and when I list
out installed packages, it does not appear to have been installed.
Furthermore, I can't install patch PSN-4_SEQ-94_PAT-101. I get
this error
Build PSN*4.0*101 has an Enviromental Check Routine
Want to RUN the Environment Check Routine? YES//

Do you mean that you attempted to install these patches, but one or
more of them failed to install?
PSN*4.0*101 Build will not be installed, Transport Global deleted!

I can work on the first two, but the last one it the compiler problem.
It sounds like these are all missing dependencies, not a failure to
compile platform dependent code.
I could go through the .kids file and remove any cache' code, but is
this really the proper way to handle this??

Well, within the VA, you'd need to open a trouble ticket, if this
were the problem. Are you saying it was the environment check routine
itself that didn't complete successfully? Load the distribution
(don't install it) and look up the name of the environment check
routine, then take a look at it.
