I forgot to add that GT.M on Alpha/AXP OpenVMS is also a free option, if you have a spare old Alpha sitting around - the VA supposedly has many Alphas. The software is also being released as open source free software under the GPL - binaries are available at Source Forge (http://sourceforge.net/projects/sanchez-gtm), documentation is online (http://www.sanchez-gtm.com/user_documentation/user_doc.htm), source code to follow at Source Forge.
