You must be reading my mind. I am just about to go out the door to buy one and get some of you geeks to ssh in and get GTM and VistA running on it. I want to see Osirix working with VistA, and considering this new chip, this seems like an ideal time to try it. I also suspect that the movement of Osirix to Linux will be facilitated by the Mac switiching to this new chip.
That said, are you planning to set up a Mini RAID or what? It does not seem like the best choice to me. I may need to buy a new server, and I wonder if one of the new intel-based Mac mini's would work for a small office.
