You must be reading my mind.  I am just about to go out the door to buy one 
and get some of you geeks to ssh in and get GTM and VistA running on it.  I 
want to see Osirix working with VistA, and considering this new chip, this 
seems like an ideal time to try it.  I also suspect that the movement of 
Osirix to Linux will be facilitated by the Mac switiching to this new chip.

That said, are you planning to set up a Mini RAID or what?  It does not seem 
like the best choice to me.
