I've been a Win10 preview insider for several months now and the final version
got automatically downloaded and installed a couple weeks back. It has patched
itself several times since but seems quiet this week except for Nvidia drivers.
Honestly I like Win8.1 which is a lot faster booting and snappier to use than
Win7 Pro which is still on my other two boxes. Win10 Preview was a "bug
festival" with hangs and spontaneous reboots etc. I was lucky if an individual
build ran problem free for one day especially while gaming. The one program I
had most trouble with was Folding@Home but it was Nvidia's fault for not
including the "opencl.dll" driver with their Win10 driver releases. That has
been fixed now and all is well with the final build and I can't recommend it
highly enough. Coming from Win7 and 8.1 it's very easy locating the controls to
configure it to my taste. If I don't know where something is Google finds it
real fast. I especially like it with the latest Witcher 3 Wild Hunt 1.07 patch.
Smooth.
