The power brick on my Toshiba died one morning on me (fine at home, got to
work, dead) I think it was an internal fuse or something. Ended up getting a
generic multi voltage unit from the local Maplin, works a treat.

Choice pf brand aside, if it names your laptop model as supported & has the
connector I'd say it's OK. I have a Targus one here that work fine on the
only HP laptop I had but I think it's only 60W so no go on my dell even with
the right plug & voltage.
