[H] Looking for DSL Router with super manage firewall internal

Looking for recommendations for a DSL Router with full featured firewall. I want the ability to stop or manage specific programs contacting or communicating to the Internet.   Or – should I be looking at a hardware based firewall and stick with my current DSL router?     First hand observations and thoughts would be most helpful.   Bob
