Now with his motherboard and heatsink, the CPU is reading 74C whilst running AV scans in a WinPE enviroment. I think the sensor on the motherboard has to be flaky. The heat sink doesn't feel warm - perhaps it isn't transferring heat from the CPU, but I doubt it.
