I have a All in Wonder 9600. I am trying to capture my own home made VHS recordings. These are not protected commercial tapes, they are just recordings that I have made over the years. I am using a special splitter box to simultaneously output the playback of the tape to my All in wonder card, as well as my TV. This is exactly how I record the Science channel from my digital cable box, and never have a problem.

But trying it from the VCR = newer barely used JVC SVHS, every tape I put in there gives me a flutter on the ATI computer display, during playback and recording.

However, the TV screen display is perfect. I can switch over and record from the digital cable box with the press of a button and output is perfect.

Anybody know why the ATI card is seeing a flutter in the VHS output?
