Yep. All 939 socket are 64 bit. Hell, even all the new Semprons are 64bit. That said, they run standard WindowsXP just fine, without having to use XP64.. though they can run that as well as 64-bit linux just fine also.

Just FYI ;) But there's plenty of reasons to go AMD now : 1) Better power efficiency 2) Faster in close to every aspect 3) Future-proof (64-bit) <-- hate using this word though 4) Cheap - get a Venice 90nm 3000+ and go wild with the OC'ing (my old Socket-754 3000+ still OC'es pretty nicely) Disclaimer : Not an AMD fanboi :P -- JW
