Well don't have Ghost never had luck with it, I think I can use acronis as
it has a boot cd that operates in dos so, I have the basic idea.

And I have an image that may predate the installation of the tuner drivers,
if not, I hope I can delete them once I am there,

Thanks again

"Yes and no. This -can- work (though it's easiest with something like NT4
"rather then MCE, since tuners, etc. will not work in a VPC). Ghost the HDD
"to a GHOST image. Save the ghost image in a folder.
"
"Boot the VPC to a DOS Prompt by creating a VPC, labeling it windows, and
"having it boot to a .IMG floppy or something similar.
"
"Once there, run GHOST for DOS, ghost your MCE box to the VPC Virtual Hard
"Drive. Done.

"Is the a way I can make an image of my MCE installation and just install
"that to a vhd - would sure speed things up.
"
"I have WinImage, and Acronis TrueImage, and I think Nero can make an image
"of a drive.
"
"It would be ducky for just this one OS. I can always Boot from a different
"drive and OS to make the image of the target OS.
"
"Thanks a HEAP
