I'm thinking THE MAN got to this program then. I cannot even find anything

periodicals today that spyware infestations employing root kits / stealth
to avoid detection is on the rise. If people are not using the "think
outside the box" type of cleaning - they may be in for a long haul
fighting this crap. Funny thing is - how can this type of PUP's not be
considered viruses now? *scratches head*
It's very interesting that programs that are, effectively, viruses are
being written by companies with the cash to protect themselves from being
detected and removed. Shouldn't there be some law against this kind of crap?
BTW, what are you using for cleaning now?
I'm using:
Ad-aware
Spybot
Spysweeper
Security Task Manager
BHO Daemon
AboutBuster
CWSShredder
This is after I scan for viruses, of course. Some of those are picking up
the Spyware apps, which is nice.
