Ahhh esp when they aren't plugged in? There were no USB devices attached
when I had the system... Not to say there wasn't something attached
before I got it....

Win2K Pro SP4. System clean. Open system properties and device manager
and usually it will refresh and you can poke around in the hardware.
However, this system constantly polls at the hardware and since it's
always refreshing - you can't open anything. What in God's name would
cause something like this perpetual refresh/poll in device manager?
