Office Max has a sale on an AOC 19" Widescreen LCD with analog and digital inputs this weekend for $199.99 (no rebate required). I have two questions. I play few games (an occasional Civ 4 or Civ CTP) and would be using the monitor mostly for office apps and video editing. This would be replacing or augmenting a Sony 17sfII crt that is about 11 years old (but still working).
1) Anyone familiar with this model and have an opinion? 2) I have a Gigabyte GV-RX60P128DE Radeon X600 Pro PCI Express 128MB DDR Video Card with both VGA and DVI outputs. The monitor's resolution is 1440x900. The advertised resolutions for the video card from the manufacturers site are; 640x480 200 800x600 200 1024x768 200 1152x864 200 1280x1024 160 1600x1200 120 1920x1080* 16:9 120 1920x1200 100 1920x1440 90 2048x1536 85 Would I have a problem using this monitor with my X600 card? Should I just stick with stock 4x3 monitors unless I find a 1920x1080 widescreen? Thanks for any input and suggestions. Jim Maki [EMAIL PROTECTED]
