Forget 975X. It's dead tech. It does not, nor will it ever, support DDR2-800 memory. Funny how it's touted as "extreme" and the 965 series chipsets that DO support DDR2-800 memory are marketed as "mainstream".

A G965 intel retail board with integrated graphics looks like a killer combo for anything short of intense 3D gamers. Depending on which source you read, the new integrated graphics are to be DX10 compliant and not suck.

What happened to it?

Was looking at new 975X motherboards getting ready for a Core 2 (Conroe)
update, seems most boards out there are still ATX form factor?

 I thought Intel was gonna drop support for ATX for the newer processors?
