[H] Copying a 1.4GB DVD-R disk to 4.7GB

I have a 1.4GB DVDR disk (from a Sony Camcorder) it has a Video_TS 
folder, so it looks like a regular DVD - but I can't get it to copy 
with NTI DVD Maker or Nero Express 6.  Is there a trick to this?
