A while back, I asked the group about using Beyond TV with my PVR-150 because I could get it free after rebate. Well, here's the update.
I was using the WinTV2000 software that I got with the PVR-150. The WinTV2000 software would crash often and it got where I could not depend on it to record a whole show. Well, Beyond TV has yet to crash on me. The recordings seem to come out cleaner also. It allows you to record all of a given show, or just the new shows. And it also adds the title of the show to the file name. The interface is nonstandard and kind of different, but as long as I get good recordings... So overall, I like Beyond TV much better than the WinTV2000 stuff. If any of you have any other recommendations as to what may work better, fire away! I saw earlier that many of you are having problems with Sage TV. What was that other free software that some of you seem to like? Bobby
