They have done it in (smallish) boats for years... Check with a Marina, Boat supply store, etc.

Anybody ever install two batteries in their vehicle ? I would of thought there would be some kind of easy device that allowed you to hook them up saftly but I haven't been able to Google one up.... or even clear instructions on how to do this. Has anybody done this?
