Do you do a lot of highway driving so your alternator can charge 2 batteries? not really, but I can always trickle it. If it's not big enough you'll also need a new heavy duty one of these that can do the job.

Yes, this is one of my questions... I am just not sure, probably won't know until I try, but I will ask Toyota when I take it in for service next week.

I have an inverter in my truck that I run off a single main battery & have yet to drain it so as I needed a jump & I don't do hardly any highway driving any more. I have a light & a cig lighter outlet in the bed liner of my truck as well.

that's a good idea, you put that in?

Heck the truck charges the camper battery & runs the refrigerator when we're going down the highway.

From two batteries right?

Are you sure you need another battery?

Well, I want one so I don't have to worry about running down my primary battery with an invertor. And I want to be able to turn the worklights or flashers on with out the key in. To do this I will probably have to use some kind of isolator and wire the lightbar directly off the 2nd battery.

How much life do you have in the one that you have in there?

It is not a big one... a Delco. I might end up using it as the 2nd battery. I will soon get the biggest Interstate that will fit in the truck.... should be a 850 amp.

Do you have room under the hood or were you thinking of putting it elsewhere ?

no, I don't have room under the hood and was thinking about putting it in the center of the tool box, which I can never get anything out of anyway.

I'm just a very satisfied customer as I've purchased several things there over the years.

Ok, thanks
