The chkdsk issues are mostly on machines that use RAID or SATA drives in native (AHCI) mode where the controller is present in the device manager as a "RAID Controller"

When did they add this? I have no problems running
scheduled chkdsk at
boot time with either one installed.

Is it just a upper or lower filter edit to remove it
from the driver chain?
