Sorry it did not work. How about a cheap (used) video card from somewhere instead? Depends on what it is used for... (I think I have an XP machine running a real old 4Meg card, or did...)

As an update, the VIA 4n1's did not do the trick. I tried both the v443 and Hyperion v451.
