Will your old hardware actually cold boot (without Windoz) from a USB
FlashDisk or would you still need a Floppy drive or CD drive to do that?

OK, is this a SATA/PATA replacing legacy IDE thing, or, is this something
about SCSI which I do still heavily (until it breaks!)?

I do understand that old legacy hardware seems to be disappearing at an
increased rate lately.  Probably why I'm still trying to replace my old
floppy drives with USB flash drives........
