[H] SATA II support

[Winterlight]

I am buying a SATA II drive. It comes with a on board jumper for 1.5 
or 3Gb/s. I am planning on running it on a IntelPERL board which 
supports SATA one = 1.5Gb/s. I think I remember that  SATA II can not 
be fully utilized yet. So is there any reason to get a controller 
that supports SATA II ?
