In a scsi world, a good 2940UW is a tough choice to discount.
Most of mine upgraded to 29160's only because scsi hds got so hard to get.
Now, all scsi seems to be U320. U320 is too costly for me to play.
Just trying to keep what I have un-dated and running.
But, now, I am converting back to EIDE/SATA/PATA as in-house scsi
fails. This gambit is my last game. It is a chore. But a chore I am
willing to play, still.
I have played scsi since 1996. Hard to let it go......... :)
Best,
Duncan

Don't feel bad, but I am using it in a classic gaming rig (Win98SE)
Adaptec 2940UW w/ crystal replaced, 2x 4.5GB Cheetahs, UltraPlex, P3 800MHz.
Not used much anymore since a lot of stuff runs pretty nicely in a VM on
my main
E6420 rig (playing Fallout 2 for the first time just now. It's a blast! :)
